NEW YEAR, START NEW

As 2025 has started and we have our annual banquet behind us, we begin the new year with the new Board of Directors beginning their duties. There are already some new ventures in the planning and some old things returning. First up is the Back Bay Pickerel Bash in February, then March we will have a Shenandoah Fly Fishing Excursion. Both items are found in the events page with trip and contact information. We should see some exciting new programs with Chris Malgee taking over the programs chair. Chris Viano will continue to run the Fishing Contest and will also be in charge of organizing the monthly fly pattern to be tied. First up will be Kevin Dubois in February talking about The Everglades and he will tie one or two of his go to patterns. Ed Pacheco is organizing another Poquoson Flats trip on April 12 and 26. A good start to the year!
